For most divers, PADI Advanced certification is the next step after completing your Open Water certification.Expand the underwater world by diving in search of new discoveries, skills and experiences. It deals with new skills that make diving more rewarding and open up new activities and options when you go underwater. Try to explore dive sites you haven’t seen before, gain experience with the scuba equipment and understand more about what you see, feel and hear in the underwater world.

Whether you are a newly certified PADI Open Water Diver or have been for years, the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program develops the
underwater preferences you have, while discovering new ones, broadens and hones your skills and makes you more confident in yourself.
You’ll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.
