PADI Discovery/Mini Course Diving
Also known as a mini course, the PADI Discovery course is the fastest and easiest way to try scuba diving in Tayrona Park and Santa Marta. It is the perfect option if you do not have much time while visiting Santa Marta since it is only a 1/2 day session. It is not uncommon for a student to start with a Discovery course and decide to continue diving by taking the PADI Open Water Certification course.
About the Mini Course:
It’s a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world. You will be in the company of a professional instructor in and out of the water.
It can be done from the age of 10. You do not need previous experience for this course, just that you are comfortable being in the water.
The program introduces people how to put assemble Scuba Gear and the basics of how it’s used in a safe way.
The maximum depth established for this course is 12 meters
The dives are carried out in the Tayrona National Park
